Legal Disclaimer
This Legal Disclaimer explains the informational nature of the MekaVerse NFT website and the limitations applying to NFT tokenization, verification records, blockchain information, catalogue content and physical-to-digital integrations.
1. Purpose and scope
This Disclaimer applies to the MekaVerse NFT Website, including its articles, catalogue pages, verification interfaces, tokenization descriptions, public records, forms and physical-to-digital integration materials.
It applies to visitors, Clients, Creators, NFT holders, prospective purchasers and any person relying on information obtained through the Website.
Project-specific obligations are governed by the applicable quotation, Project Scope, NFT Service Agreement and other agreed documents.
2. General information only
Public Website content is provided for general informational and educational purposes.
General explanations of NFTs, metadata, digital ownership, token utility, verification, provenance, QR codes, NFC tags and blockchain technology are not tailored to the circumstances of a particular user.
The presence of information on the Website does not create a professional adviser-client, fiduciary, agency or partnership relationship.
Users should not treat a general Website article as a substitute for specialist advice relating to a material transaction, legal dispute or technical implementation.
3. No investment advice
MekaVerse NFT does not provide investment recommendations or personalised financial advice through the public Website.
Nothing on the Website constitutes:
- a recommendation to acquire, hold or sell an NFT;
- a prediction of future token value;
- a guarantee of resale demand or liquidity;
- an invitation to invest in a project;
- portfolio-management advice;
- a guarantee of income, royalties or commercial success;
- a representation that an NFT is suitable for a particular person.
An NFT may lose all commercial value. A user may be unable to resell, transfer, access or redeem it.
Users remain responsible for deciding whether an NFT-related transaction is appropriate for their objectives and risk tolerance.
4. No legal advice
Website information about ownership, copyright, licensing, consumer rights, blockchain records or contracts is provided as general guidance only.
MekaVerse NFT does not act as a law firm, court, intellectual-property registry or legal-title authority.
Users should obtain independent legal advice concerning:
- copyright or trademark ownership;
- licence drafting or enforceability;
- assignment of intellectual-property rights;
- consumer and digital-content obligations;
- financial-services or cryptoasset regulation;
- sanctions and anti-money-laundering requirements;
- cross-border NFT transactions;
- disputed authorship or product authenticity.
A verification record is not a legal opinion and does not determine the outcome of a rights dispute.
5. No tax or accounting advice
MekaVerse NFT does not provide individual tax, bookkeeping, audit or accounting advice.
Acquiring, selling, transferring, receiving, gifting, redeeming or creating NFTs may have tax or reporting consequences.
Users are responsible for:
- maintaining transaction and payment records;
- determining applicable valuations;
- identifying relevant income or gains;
- calculating taxes and deductions;
- submitting required reports or disclosures;
- obtaining advice for their jurisdiction.
Any general reference to tax treatment may become outdated and should not be relied upon as a personal tax determination.
6. No regulated-service representation
A description of an NFT tokenization, verification or metadata Service does not mean that the Service is regulated, approved or endorsed by a financial authority.
MekaVerse NFT does not represent that:
- every NFT is a regulated financial product;
- every NFT is outside financial regulation;
- a compensation scheme applies;
- a regulator has reviewed a particular Asset;
- a catalogue entry has official investment approval;
- a token has been legally classified for every jurisdiction.
The regulatory treatment of a token may depend on its specific rights, structure, marketing and use.
7. NFT verification limitations
MekaVerse NFT verification may review specified public data, submitted Project Materials, token identifiers, metadata, hashes, serial numbers or issuer declarations.
A verification status may indicate that reviewed fields were available or appeared internally consistent at the time of review.
Verification does not guarantee:
- legal ownership of copyright or another right;
- truth of every Client or Creator declaration;
- authenticity of a physical product;
- absence of competing ownership claims;
- validity of a licence in every jurisdiction;
- future availability of external metadata;
- future performance of the stated utility;
- financial value or market demand.
A blockchain timestamp or asset hash can support a record, but it does not independently identify the lawful Creator or prove the full history of an Asset.
8. Ownership and copyright limitations
Control of an NFT generally means control of the blockchain token through the associated wallet.
Unless valid separate terms expressly provide otherwise, NFT ownership does not automatically transfer:
- copyright in the underlying work;
- commercial reproduction rights;
- trademark or branding rights;
- design, patent or database rights;
- ownership of source files;
- permission to create derivative works;
- ownership of a related physical product;
- the right to represent oneself as the Creator.
Users must review the applicable NFT Licence, assignment document and Intellectual Property Policy .
9. Physical product limitations
A physical product may be connected to an NFT through a QR code, NFC tag, serial number, certificate or digital-twin record.
Opening a connected digital record does not independently prove that the physical item is genuine, unchanged or held by its lawful owner.
Physical verification may require additional measures, including:
- trusted manufacturer or issuer records;
- tamper-evident labels or packaging;
- independent physical inspection;
- documented chain of custody;
- secure serial-number management;
- separate delivery or redemption terms.
MekaVerse NFT does not provide an unconditional product-authenticity guarantee merely because an item is linked to an NFT.
10. Blockchain information
Public blockchain information is obtained from independent networks, nodes, explorers, wallets and related infrastructure.
Blockchain data may be delayed, reorganised, incorrectly displayed or interpreted differently by separate interfaces.
MekaVerse NFT does not control:
- transaction confirmation times;
- network congestion or transaction fees;
- protocol forks or consensus changes;
- validator, sequencer or bridge operations;
- third-party explorer availability;
- wallet compatibility;
- independent blockchain security;
- reversal of confirmed transactions.
Users should independently verify contract addresses, token IDs, destination wallets and network selection.
11. Market and value information
Prices, listings, transaction history and marketplace data may come from independent sources.
A displayed or historical price does not establish:
- current fair value;
- the price achievable in a future sale;
- genuine market demand;
- absence of wash trading or manipulation;
- availability of a buyer;
- future income or appreciation.
MekaVerse NFT does not warrant that a catalogue NFT can be resold or that any marketplace will continue to support it.
12. Catalogue content
Catalogue pages may display NFT descriptions, metadata, verification information, stated utility and acquisition conditions.
Users must read the full record and applicable terms rather than relying on a title, image, badge or summary alone.
A catalogue entry does not guarantee:
- continued availability of the NFT;
- marketplace acceptance;
- continuation of third-party utility;
- future price or liquidity;
- legal availability in every country;
- compatibility with every wallet;
- transfer of rights not expressly stated.
Where a third party is the seller or issuer, that party may be responsible for separate sale, delivery or redemption obligations.
13. Project examples and use cases
Examples involving software, artwork, certificates, memberships, physical products, access systems or digital twins illustrate possible applications of NFT technology.
An example does not guarantee:
- technical suitability for every Project;
- legal compliance in every jurisdiction;
- commercial success;
- availability of a specific third-party provider;
- identical Project cost or delivery requirements;
- that every described feature is included in a Service.
Actual Project deliverables are determined only by the accepted Project Scope.
14. Website accuracy
MekaVerse NFT aims to provide clear and useful Website information, but does not guarantee that every public page is complete, error-free or continuously current.
Information may become outdated because of:
- changes in blockchain technology;
- new laws or regulatory guidance;
- third-party platform updates;
- changes to token metadata or utility;
- marketplace or wallet changes;
- technical or editorial errors.
MekaVerse NFT may correct or update Website-controlled information without prior notice.
Users should request clarification before relying on a material point that appears incomplete, inconsistent or outdated.
15. External links and services
The Website may contain links to marketplaces, blockchain explorers, wallets, storage networks, payment providers, social platforms or other external services.
External links are provided for reference or technical convenience and do not constitute an unconditional endorsement.
MekaVerse NFT does not control an external provider’s:
- content, accuracy or availability;
- security practices;
- fees and transaction rules;
- privacy or cookie practices;
- account restrictions;
- regulatory status;
- listing or delisting decisions;
- continued business operation.
Users access and use independent services under the provider’s own terms and at their own risk.
16. Website availability
MekaVerse NFT does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Website, verification pages, forms or external integrations.
Access may be interrupted by:
- planned maintenance;
- hosting or domain failures;
- cybersecurity incidents;
- software or database errors;
- third-party API outages;
- blockchain network interruption;
- events outside reasonable control;
- legal or security restrictions.
A temporary Website outage does not necessarily affect the existence of an NFT recorded on an independent blockchain.
17. Security limitations
Reasonable security measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee that a Website, wallet, blockchain or online transmission will be completely secure.
Users are responsible for protecting:
- private keys and recovery phrases;
- wallet and account passwords;
- authentication devices and codes;
- email and browser access;
- connected wallet permissions;
- local copies of confidential Project Materials.
MekaVerse NFT does not require a private key or recovery phrase for a normal tokenization, verification or contact request.
Users should independently confirm the Website domain and transaction details before connecting a wallet or approving a blockchain action.
18. User responsibility
Users are responsible for conducting appropriate due diligence before relying on an NFT, verification record or external service.
Before proceeding, a user should understand:
- the identity of the Asset and submitting party;
- the blockchain and token reference;
- the rights included and excluded;
- the entity responsible for the stated utility;
- storage and metadata dependencies;
- wallet and transaction risks;
- applicable fees and taxes;
- the possibility of total financial loss.
Users must not rely solely on a visual badge, catalogue image, previous transaction or promotional statement.
19. Limitation of liability
Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Subject to mandatory legal rights, MekaVerse NFT will not be liable for indirect, consequential, special or purely economic loss arising from reliance on general Website information.
Such loss may include:
- loss of profit, revenue or opportunity;
- loss caused by a market-price change;
- inability to sell or transfer an NFT;
- loss caused by a compromised wallet;
- incorrect or irreversible blockchain transactions;
- external-platform failure;
- loss of metadata or third-party content;
- unauthorised copying of public information;
- reliance on inaccurate third-party declarations.
Liability relating to a paid Project is governed by the applicable Project Documents and NFT Service Agreement.
20. Mandatory legal rights
Nothing in this Disclaimer removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
This includes liability or rights that applicable law requires to remain available, including relevant Consumer protections.
Where a provision of this Disclaimer conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the mandatory requirement takes priority and the remaining provisions continue to apply.
21. Changes to this Disclaimer
MekaVerse NFT may update this Disclaimer to reflect changes in the Website, Services, technology, business practices or applicable legal requirements.
The current version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
Changes to this general Disclaimer do not retrospectively alter an individually agreed paid Project where doing so would conflict with the applicable Project Documents or law.
22. Contact
Questions about Website information, an NFT record, verification limitations or an active Project may be submitted through:
Include the relevant Website page, contract address, token ID, Project reference or catalogue entry where available.
