Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose and application

This Policy applies to every person who accesses the Website, submits Project Materials, requests tokenization, uses NFT verification functions, interacts with catalogue content or communicates with MekaVerse NFT.

It also applies to Clients, authorised representatives, Creators, issuers, NFT holders and third parties acting on their behalf.

This Policy operates together with the Terms and Conditions, NFT Service Agreement and other applicable legal documents.

2. General user obligations

Users must:

• use the Website and Services only for lawful purposes;
• provide accurate and non-misleading information;
• submit only materials they are authorised to use;
• respect intellectual-property, privacy and contractual rights;
• protect their own accounts, devices and wallet credentials;
• comply with applicable laws and regulatory restrictions;
• cooperate with reasonable security or ownership reviews;
• avoid conduct that may harm the Website, users or third parties.

A user must not assist, encourage, finance or knowingly facilitate another person’s breach of this Policy.

3. Lawful NFT Projects

A tokenization or verification request must relate to an Asset, product, licence, access model or record that can lawfully be submitted by the requesting party.

A permissible Project should have:

• an identifiable underlying Asset or utility;
• a genuine Creator, issuer or authorised submitting party;
• accurate metadata and declarations;
• appropriate intellectual-property permissions;
• a lawful and understandable holder benefit;
• transparent limitations and usage conditions;
• no hidden malicious or deceptive function.

MekaVerse NFT may request additional information where the Asset, rights position or intended utility is unclear.

4. Fraud and deception

Users must not use the Website or Services to:

• obtain money, tokens, access or information through deception;
• publish materially false Project information;
• misrepresent the identity of a Creator, issuer or owner;
• conceal known disputes affecting an Asset;
• create fictitious purchases, users or transaction histories;
• manipulate perceived demand, rarity or value;
• use fabricated testimonials, certificates or partnerships;
• mislead users about refunds, redemption or attached rights;
• operate a fake recovery, support or verification service.

5. False provenance and verification

Users must not create, submit or promote false information about an Asset’s creation, origin, ownership or transaction history.

Prohibited conduct includes:

• claiming authorship of another person’s work;
• inventing a false creation date or ownership history;
• submitting altered or fabricated certificates;
• using a copied hash as proof of authorship;
• linking an unrelated NFT to a physical product;
• presenting an unverified record as independently authenticated;
• copying a verification badge or status indicator;
• removing visible warnings or record limitations.

MekaVerse NFT may mark a record as disputed, restricted, suspended or withdrawn where credible conflicting information is received.

6. Intellectual-property infringement

Users must not submit or tokenize:

• stolen artwork, photography, music, video or writing;
• software copied from an unauthorised repository;
• third-party trademarks or logos without permission;
• copyright-protected content outside a lawful licence;
• commissioned work where the submitting party lacks authority;
• confidential designs or trade secrets obtained unlawfully;
• unauthorised celebrity names, images or likenesses;
• content subject to a known unresolved ownership dispute.

7. Counterfeit physical products

Offline NFT integration must not be used to legitimise, distribute or verify counterfeit products.

Users must not:

• attach an NFT record to an unauthorised branded product;
• copy a genuine product’s QR code or NFC identifier;
• reuse a serial number across unrelated items;
• replace a genuine tag with a misleading identifier;
• claim an inspection or certification that did not occur;
• misrepresent product condition, manufacturer or origin;
• sell one NFT as proof for several physical items;
• conceal that the NFT and physical product have been separated.

8. Malware and malicious smart contracts

Users must not submit, distribute or connect:

• viruses, ransomware, spyware or credential-stealing software;
• wallet-draining scripts or malicious approval requests;
• smart contracts designed to seize unrelated assets;
• code intended to bypass security controls;
• hidden redirects to phishing websites;
• files intended to exploit a device or browser;
• software that secretly mines cryptoassets;
• contracts containing deliberately concealed harmful functions.

Technical files may be blocked or removed where they create a credible security concern.

9. Unauthorised system access

Users must not attempt to:

• access systems, databases or records without permission;
• bypass authentication, access controls or rate limits;
• probe the Website for vulnerabilities without authorisation;
• intercept communications or session information;
• modify another user’s request or verification record;
• gain administrative access through stolen credentials;
• disrupt hosting, DNS, forms or verification tools;
• use vulnerabilities to obtain data or control.

Good-faith security observations should be reported through the official contact route without exploiting, retaining or publicly disclosing personal or confidential information.

10. Phishing and credential theft

Users must not use MekaVerse NFT branding, links, forms, records or communications to obtain:

• wallet recovery phrases;
• private keys;
• wallet or account passwords;
• authentication codes;
• payment-card information;
• remote access to a user’s device;
• unauthorised smart-contract approvals;
• confidential project credentials.

11. Financial crime and money laundering

The Website and Services must not be used to:

• conceal the proceeds of crime;
• launder money or cryptoassets;
• layer transactions to obscure beneficial ownership;
• facilitate terrorist financing;
• receive or transfer stolen blockchain assets;
• operate fraudulent investment or token-sale schemes;
• evade lawful reporting or identification requirements;
• create false invoices, sales or transaction explanations.

We may request additional information about a Project, submitting party, source of funds or transaction where reasonably required for risk management or legal compliance.

12. Sanctions and restricted activity

Users must not use MekaVerse NFT to breach, circumvent or facilitate evasion of applicable financial or trade sanctions.

Prohibited activity includes:

• acting for a sanctioned person without lawful authority;
• concealing the involvement of a restricted party;
• using intermediaries to evade geographic restrictions;
• moving cryptoassets to avoid an asset freeze;
• providing prohibited economic resources or services;
• misrepresenting ownership or control of a wallet or company;
• splitting transactions to conceal sanctioned involvement;
• using false identity information to pass a compliance review.

A Project may be rejected or suspended while a sanctions or restricted-party concern is reviewed.

13. Misleading financial promotions

Users must not describe an NFT as:

• a guaranteed investment;
• a risk-free opportunity;
• guaranteed to increase in price;
• guaranteed to produce passive income;
• equivalent to a protected bank deposit;
• officially approved by a regulator without evidence;
• covered by a compensation scheme without a valid basis;
• a share, security or regulated product where that claim is inaccurate.

Users must disclose material utility conditions, restrictions, costs and risks rather than relying on speculative hype.

14. Illegal and harmful content

Users must not submit or distribute content that:

• is unlawful to possess, publish or distribute;
• promotes terrorism or serious criminal activity;
• contains child sexual abuse material;
• constitutes a credible threat of violence;
• promotes severe harassment or targeted abuse;
• encourages exploitation or trafficking;
• contains non-consensual intimate material;
• is intended to facilitate weapons or prohibited-goods trafficking;
• violates a lawful court order.

MekaVerse NFT may preserve and disclose relevant records where required or permitted for safety, legal compliance or investigation.

15. Personal data and privacy abuse

Users must not:

• publish another person’s sensitive data without a lawful basis;
• place private personal information in public NFT metadata unnecessarily;
• submit stolen identity documents;
• create records intended to expose or harass an individual;
• collect user information through deceptive forms;
• upload private correspondence without authority;
• use blockchain permanence to defeat lawful privacy rights deliberately;
• send passwords, recovery phrases or authentication secrets.

Users should minimise personal information included in any public blockchain or decentralised-storage record.

16. Impersonation and unauthorised branding

Users must not impersonate:

• MekaVerse NFT or its support representatives;
• a Creator, artist, developer or rights holder;
• a business, charity or public authority;
• a wallet, marketplace or blockchain provider;
• a regulator, law-enforcement agency or professional adviser;
• another Client or NFT holder.

MekaVerse NFT names, visual identity, record layouts and verification indicators must not be copied to create an unauthorised or misleading website, certificate or service.

17. Platform and form abuse

Users must not:

• submit excessive automated requests;
• send spam through contact or project forms;
• upload irrelevant files intended to consume resources;
• submit repeated false verification requests;
• interfere with page loading or Website availability;
• attempt to manipulate search or catalogue results;
• use forms to distribute unsolicited promotions;
• harass staff through abusive or threatening communications;
• create duplicate submissions to evade a restriction.

18. Automated access and scraping

Automated access must not interfere with the Website or extract protected information unlawfully.

Without prior permission, users must not:

• scrape substantial protected Website content;
• harvest personal or contact information;
• copy catalogue records into a competing service;
• ignore technical access restrictions;
• use bots that create excessive server load;
• automatically submit forms or verification requests;
• build misleading datasets from incomplete records;
• use extracted content to impersonate MekaVerse NFT.

Normal search-engine indexing and authorised interoperability may be permitted where it respects technical controls, applicable law and intellectual-property rights.

19. Circumvention and evasion

Users must not attempt to evade:

• a Project rejection or suspension;
• a blocked wallet, identity or submission;
• a geographic or sanctions restriction;
• security, spam or rate-limit controls;
• a verification limitation or dispute label;
• payment or refund requirements;
• a request for ownership documentation;
• a content-removal or intellectual-property decision.

Using another person, wallet, company, domain or email address to continue prohibited activity is itself a breach of this Policy.

20. User-generated links and files

Users are responsible for links, files, contracts, wallet addresses and external resources submitted to MekaVerse NFT.

Submitted resources must not:

• lead to phishing, malware or wallet-draining pages;
• contain unlawful or infringing content;
• misrepresent a token contract or marketplace listing;
• require unauthorised credentials;
• secretly collect personal information;
• redirect users to unrelated deceptive content;
• contain materially false project documentation.

MekaVerse NFT may scan, block, restrict or remove submitted resources where reasonably necessary to protect users or systems.

21. Monitoring and investigation

MekaVerse NFT may review information reasonably necessary to:

• assess Project eligibility;
• investigate suspected Policy violations;
• protect Website and user security;
• respond to intellectual-property complaints;
• prevent fraud and abusive submissions;
• comply with legal obligations or authority requests;
• preserve evidence of serious misconduct.

Review may include submitted materials, public blockchain information, technical logs, transaction references and relevant communications.

Monitoring does not mean that MekaVerse NFT has approved or independently verified every user submission.

22. Enforcement actions

Where a breach is suspected or confirmed, MekaVerse NFT may:

• request clarification or supporting evidence;
• reject a Project or verification request;
• restrict access to a Website-controlled record;
• add a warning, dispute or suspended status;
• remove unlawful Website-controlled content;
• pause or terminate an active Service;
• decline future submissions;
• preserve relevant information;
• notify affected third parties;
• report activity to a platform, regulator or authority where appropriate.

Enforcement may be immediate where delay could expose users, systems or third parties to material harm.

Blockchain records already created may remain publicly available even after Website-controlled content is restricted.

23. Reporting prohibited activity

A person may report suspected fraud, impersonation, intellectual-property infringement, malicious code or other prohibited conduct through the official contact page.

A useful report should include:

• the relevant Website URL;
• the NFT, contract or token reference;
• a clear description of the concern;
• supporting screenshots or documents where lawful;
• the reporter’s contact details;
• the relationship between the reporter and affected Asset;
• the requested action.

Reports must be honest and must not be used to harass a Creator, Client, competitor or NFT holder.

Submitting a report does not guarantee a specific enforcement outcome.

24. Policy changes and contact

MekaVerse NFT may update this Policy to reflect changes in Services, security threats, technology, legal requirements or platform practices.
